GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT.
This is to inform the general public especially motorists and commuters that the State Government has prohibited the parking of vehicles (private and commercial) on the following roads, taking bearing from the King’s Square.
a. Mission Road - No parking on both side from King’s Square to Ugbague Junction
b. Forestry Road - Only left hand side parking from Butcher Street down to Dawson junction
c. Akpakpava Road - No parking on both sides from King’s Square to Wema Bank
d. Sokponba Road - No parking on both sides from King’s Square to St. Matthew Anglican Church.
e. Sapele Road - No parking on both sides from King’s Square to Ogbelaka Junction.
f. Oba Market Road - No parking on both sides from King’s Square to Siluko Road Junction.
g. Airport Road - No parking on both sides from King’s Square to Observer Newspaper Company. Meanwhile private vehicle owners are advised to use the newly constructed off street car park at the King Square for a token.
Officials of the Edo State Traffic Management Agency (EDSTMA) Nigeria Police, National Security Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) Public Utility Works Volunteer (PUWOV) have been mandated to tow and prosecute defaulting vehicles and erring motorist.
