The selling of votes did not start today in Nigeria, what baffles me is that the candidates that induces will still not feel remorseful. If asked if they are for the people, they will still say they are for the people when you ask them that, they will say they stand for justice when asked. Let’s take the ekiti election for an example inducement of votes were openly and widely done by parties such as PDP And the APC to mention a few, any party that does this or did this do not deserve to sit on the seat of a leader and the people too who allowed themselves to be induced are no Good atall these will be the same people who will later say these leaders are bad they will even say all sort of words against them. if one allowed his/herself to be induced such a person is part of the problem of the country. These inducements are popularly practiced during Governorship elections. It is clear that as a result of this their behavior, they are running as a Governor for personal gains, it is very clear.
These greedy politicians intimidate those politicians who do not want to induce, As a citizen of Nigeria if you sell your votes you are selling your rights, so don't complain when these leaders do not do well, keep quiet‼‼
I remember during one of the Edo governorship elections one of my ex neighbor went out to cast his vote he firmly said he’s voting for the PDP candidate but after coming back he said while he was there he saw someone who was sharing money to Vote for APC and he changed his plan suddenly, he voted for the APC. This must now stop! A policy must be put in place to stop this act. Why am I writing this ? It is because I am feed up of this inresponsible movement perpetuated by masses and some of the candidates that comes with another agenda promising fake promises, no doubt they are still Good people out there who has a good agenda and will do well if elected we should start looking for this people and sponsoring them. 2019 is coming Getting your PVCs is not enough the question now is will you sell your votes ? Even if offered 20million ?
Do you want to see a better Nigerian? Stop selling your votes, 5k won’t last you for four years, 100k won't.
